How long does it take to get approved for Amazon Flex?
The approval process typically takes 2-7 days, including the background check. Some areas have waitlists that can extend this to several weeks.
What are the vehicle requirements?
You need a 4-door vehicle (midsize sedan or larger) for most deliveries. For larger blocks, an SUV or van may be required. The vehicle must be in good condition with valid registration and insurance.
Can I work Amazon Flex part-time?
Yes! Amazon Flex is designed for flexible scheduling. You can work as little or as much as you want, choosing blocks that fit your schedule.
How much can I earn my first week?
It depends on how many blocks you can book. Amazon advertises $18 to $25 an hour (flex.amazon.com), so a 4-hour block is roughly $72-100 gross, before gas and vehicle costs. New drivers often find fewer blocks at first. Results vary; these are estimates, not guarantees.
